The culmination of the process and debut of the finished work will be on display during SoutamptonFest. The dance video will be screened in the Theater, surrounded by the tapestries from 2 – 5pm,
At 2 pm there will be a live participatory dance on the Lawn at SAC, accompanied by drummer Jerome Liggon. Participants of all ages are invited to join in.

The Radiance Project, Part 1 – Creating a Community Dance
Sunday, September 23 | 3-4:30 PM | FREE
Join Spring 2018 Artist-in-residence Andrea Cote who along with participants will choreograph a Community Circle Dance together as an extension of The Radiance Project. The workshop will be accompanied by live drummer Jerome Liggon.
No prior dance experience necessary. Ages 16 and up.
In phase 2, participants will meet at Flying Point Beach to perform The Radiance Project Dance for video on the beach with live drummer Jerome Liggon and drone videographer Tyus Gholson. You do not have to attend the 9/23 program to participate. Come learn the dance and join in the piece. No prior dance experience necessary. Ages 16+.
Wear blue and white and please be prompt.

The Radiance Project will be featured in this exhibition at The Southampton Arts Center, curated by Paton Miller. Honored to be included alongside other local artists, including my husband, the sculptor Pierre Cote.

In the one and a half-hour workshops we will collaborate to make mandalas for the project. Movement, visualization and printmaking will be explored as a group & you will learn about the process of cyanotype.
